Hello, and welcome back to another blog post for this week. Today we will be talking about the volunteer work that we did with the planting group with Carol and Linda. We started to put up signs for the garden group that said IC Blooms. We asked small businesses in the community to hang up the signs. Some of the signs said UI REACH Program so that people could know who planted those plants.

We also met an officer named Dave who rides his police bike around Iowa City to see if people needed help with something and to make sure that they are safe. We also took a picture of Officer Dave with the garden group.

We also had fun on the playground. The playground is by the Iowa City Public Library. Ben and Jordan played on the playground while some people went inside businesses to talk about the signs.

We bumped into people that Linda volunteers with. We introduced ourselves to them. We took a picture with them.

When we were almost done we took a cookie break. Carol brought us some cookies from Bread Garden. While we ate the cookies we talked our garden experience.
