Biscuits and Gravy

Hello everyone. Our breakfast theme continues this week, as we made biscuits and gravy! Ellie was the host. This was something that most of us had never made before ... and it was a hit!

The first thing we did was to brown the pork sausage. We used one pound.

While the sausage was cooking, we put the biscuits on a baking sheet. We used refrigerated biscuit dough to make it easy! After putting the biscuits on the baking sheet, we put them in the oven.

Here are the cooked biscuits. They smelled great!

After the sausage was cooked, we added 1/3rd cup of flour. After stirring so that the flour coated the sausage, we added three cups of milk. Then a little salt and pepper to season!

Elliot is always good about trying new things. He loved them!
